Short version: m3Dical collects minimal data. Your IP address and session data are personal data under Israeli Privacy Protection Law Amendment 13 (2025). Analytics run only if you consent. Your project data is treated as strictly confidential and is never shared without written authorization.
1. Who We Are
Tal m3Dical is a sole-proprietorship engineering studio operated by Tal Wainer Katsir, Israel. We produce anatomical models, silicone phantoms, and DICOM segmentation services for medical device companies. This site is talkats.com.

2. Legal Framework
This policy is written under Israeli law, specifically:
- Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981
- Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017
- Privacy Protection Law Amendment 13, effective August 14, 2025
Amendment 13 explicitly includes IP addresses, session identifiers, and device identifiers as personal data. Standard web analytics therefore constitute personal data processing under Israeli law.
3. What Data We Collect and Why
3a. Analytics (consent required)
We use analytics tools (currently: none active pending your consent) to understand how visitors navigate the site. This data includes:
- IP address (truncated where technically possible)
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth
- Referring URL, browser type, device type
- Country/city approximation derived from IP
Analytics do not run until you click "Accept" on the consent banner. If you click "Reject," no analytics scripts load. Your choice persists for 12 months and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer.
3b. Contact and project inquiries
When you reach out via WhatsApp, email, or a referral channel, we collect the information you provide: your name, company, contact details, and project description. This is used solely to evaluate and fulfill your project request.
3c. Project files
CT/MRI data and other files submitted for projects are used only for that specific project. They are not stored beyond project completion without explicit agreement, not shared with third parties under any circumstances, and deleted on request.

5. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Data may be shared with:
- Analytics providers (only if you consent; currently none active)
- Email and messaging providers necessary to communicate with you (e.g., WhatsApp, Gmail)
- Accountant/bookkeeper for invoice processing (contact information only, not project content)
- Legal and regulatory bodies when required by law
Project data (scans, models, proprietary specifications) is never shared with anyone without your written authorization.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfers
This site is hosted on infrastructure that may process data outside Israel. Israel has an EU adequacy decision; data transfers to EU-based infrastructure are therefore generally compliant. For other jurisdictions, we rely on contractual safeguards consistent with Israeli Privacy Protection Law requirements for cross-border transfers.

9. Your Rights
Under Israeli Privacy Protection Law, you have the right to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data (where not required by legal obligation)
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
- File a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il)
